The course lasts 2 days, starts on Thursday and finishes on Friday evening.
The focus of this course is on:
- new developments in FDG-PET-CT imaging in various disease entities with emphasis on oncology
- the role of PET-CT compared to contrast enhanced CT and MRI in diseases of the head and neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis
- clinical application of tracers other than FDG, i. e. Fluoride, F-Choline, F-DOPA and other neuroendocrine PET-tracers, FLT and other.
A “bring your own case” session will permit participants to have a challenging case of their own practice discussed. There is also room for formal discussions with staff members of the Zurich PET Center and less formally at a course dinner included in the participation fee. We accept up to 16 participants per course.
CME credits: 13 credit hours (tentative)
Admission requirements: Prerequisite for inscription is personal experience in reading FDG-PET-CT examinations, completion of a PET-CT fellowship with us or equivalent (i. e. at least 300 PET-CT cases read under supervision). Good command of English language.
Course fee: 800.- €
